Introducing our 2016+ Tacoma High Clearance Rear Bumper, designed to maximize departure angle and strength while maintaining a sleek, aggressive look. With an overall height of about 4.5", the bumper tucks as close to the tailgate as possible, offering more clearance than any bumper on the market while still protecting the bed.

Two recessed mounting locations for Baja Designs S2 flush-mount lights are integrated into the bumper face, complete with CNC-machined bezels for a clean finish.

Built from 3/16” U.S.-made high-strength steel with 3/8” thick frame mounts, this bumper integrates recovery points directly into the chassis for maximum strength. Each recovery point uses 1/4" reinforcement plates welded to both sides, creating a 7/8" thick mount designed for ¾” shackles with a 7/8” pin.

A gusseted license plate area adds rigidity for the laser-cut hitch tube, which is supported by dual 1.5” × .120 tubes that tie directly into the frame plates. The hitch is not tow-rated but does feature chain attachment points. The trailer plug harness is relocated behind the bumper for added protection.

High-clearance side gussets tie directly into the frame plates, reinforced by additional 3/16” gussets bolted to the frame to prevent deflection under heavy impacts.

Additional details include a flip-up license plate bracket with open/close detents, included LED license plate lights (minor wiring/splicing required), and a relocated harness for improved protection.

Note: This bumper ships raw and does not come powder coated. Finishing is recommended before installation.
